It's priced by the linear foot, so the only honest quote is a measured one. Here are the rates before anybody comes out — no packages to decode, no subscription, and no yearly hanging fee ever again.

How the math works: at $35 a foot, 100 feet of house roofline is $3,500 and 200 feet is $7,000. What decides your number is how many feet we actually measure, and of what — dormers run a little higher at $40 a foot. That's why nobody can quote this honestly over the phone, and why the visit is free.

How it works
Measured, installed, then it's yours
We measure your house
A rep walks your rooflines with a measuring wheel — house, garage, dormers, and any walkway or landscape runs you want lit. Per-foot pricing only works if somebody counts the feet, so this is in person, free, and you get the number before we leave.
We install the track
The channel is set into the roofline and matched to your trim, the lights sit inside it facing out, and the wiring is tucked behind it. One outdoor outlet and a controller, and there is nothing hanging off your house.
You run it from your phone
Pick the color, the brightness and the schedule. Warm white sunset-to-bedtime is what most people leave it on; holiday colors and patterns are a few taps when you want them.

That's a different service and we do that too — designed, installed, maintained through the season, taken down in January and stored for you. Permanent lighting is for people who are done repeating that.

Permanent Lighting — FAQ
How much does permanent lighting cost?
Gallo Bros prices it per linear foot: $35 a foot on the house and on a detached garage, and $40 on dormers. It is per foot because a 90-foot roofline and a 220-foot roofline are not the same job — so the only honest number comes from measuring your house. That visit is free and in person, and you get the exact price at the door.
How long do the lights last, and are they under warranty?
The LEDs are rated at 100,000 hours — run sunset to midnight, that is measured in decades, not seasons — and the system we install carries a 7-year warranty in writing. Maintenance is optional on top: $300 for one visit a year, or $600 for two.
What colors can I set?
Any of them. Every light on the run is addressed on its own and controlled from your phone, so you get warm white on a schedule as the default, plus unlimited colors, patterns and scenes when you want them — holidays, game days, a birthday, or just a dimmed white on a Tuesday.
Is this the same as permanent Christmas lights?
It is what people mean when they search for permanent Christmas lights, but calling it that undersells it. About 300 nights a year it is plain warm white — the same tone as the lamps inside your house — lighting the front of your home after dark. December is a setting, not the point.
Can you see the track in the daytime?
Barely. The track is set into the roofline and matched to your trim, with the lights sitting inside it facing out — from the street in daylight it reads as part of the roof edge. Nothing hangs off the house: no bulbs, no clips, no cords down the siding.
Do the lights stay up all winter?
Yes, and they are built to. Nothing comes down in January, so nobody gets on your roof in the cold, there is no takedown to schedule, and there is no bin of lights in the garage. That is the whole point of a permanent system.
Do I have to be home for the estimate?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Because it is priced by the foot, we measure your actual rooflines, dormers and any landscape runs you want lit, then hand you the number in person. Pick a time on the form and you will get an arrival window and a text reminder.
